Croatia Airlines introduces new seasonal route to Split

Split, May 8, 2024 – Last night, Croatia Airlines performed its inaugural flight on the new seasonal route connecting Split and Istanbul, expanding the Croatian national carrier’s network of international flights from Split Airport this year.
The first flight from Split to Istanbul (flight number OU4352), operated by an Airbus A319 aircraft, carried 77 passengers, while the return flight from Istanbul to Split (flight number 4353) was conducted this morning with 31 passengers, Croatia Airlines said.
To mark the introduction of the new seasonal route, Croatia Airlines gifted all passengers on flights OU4352 and 4353 with a reward voucher offering a 20% discount, which can be utilised when purchasing tickets for their next journey on the Split – Istanbul route.
Direct flights between Split and Istanbul are scheduled three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays – until mid-October this year, enhancing Split’s air connectivity with international destinations.
During this year’s season, Croatia Airlines will connect Split Airport with a total of 21 international destinations, or 22 airports, including Amsterdam, Athens, Vienna, Berlin, Bucharest, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Copenhagen, London Gatwick and London Heathrow, Lyon, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Skopje, Stockholm, and Zurich.
Throughout the tourist season, Croatia Airlines plans to link Croatia with a total of 28 international destinations, or 29 European airports, operating on 50 international routes. More than 17,200 flights are planned in total, with almost 2 million seats available.
