Vueling introduce Barcelona-Zagreb flights, KLM boosts Split operations

ZAGREB, 14 June 2021 – Spanish airline Vueling is to re-introduce its Barcelona-Zagreb service in July.
Vueling has been operating on this route for many years, and it was in operation in the summer of 2020, but reduced due to the impact of the global pandemic.
Although the airline announced regular flights on this route from May, due to passenger restrictions, operations had been constantly delayed.
From July 3, regular flights between Barcelona and Zagreb will commence, Croatian Aviation reports.
The Barcelona – Zagreb – Barcelona service will operate only once a week in July, every Saturday, while two flights a week are announced in August, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Flights in July will operate in the afternoon and evening. Arrival from Barcelona to Zagreb is scheduled for 17:50, while departure from Zagreb to Barcelona is announced at 18:35.
Flights are scheduled to operate in this rotation until 30 October.
Vueling has already resumed traffic on its services to Split and Dubrovnik, and will soon operate again to Zadar.
KLM
The Dutch national airline, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, will increase the number of operations on the route between Amsterdam and Split from July.
In addition to the existing two daily flights on the mentioned service, from Monday, July 5, KLM is introducing an additional, third daily flight.
The third daily flight will arrive at Split Airport in the evening (21:40), and the plane and crew will spend the night in Split and have an early morning flight from Split to Amsterdam at 6:45.
In addition to the morning departure from Split, the other two daily flights depart at 12:50 and 17:45.

From that date, KLM will use E190 aircraft for two daily flights to Split, while B737-800 aircraft have been announced for the afternoon rotation.
In addition to flights to Split, one daily flight to Dubrovnik and two daily flights to Zagreb have been announced. In the peak of the summer season, KLM will have as many as 42 weeks of flights from Amsterdam to three Croatian airports.
