A man driving a white Peugeot has crashed into a tram station in the Croatian capital Zagreb on Friday afternoon…
According to daily 24sata, the car crashed into the Trešnjevka markets tram station at around 13:30 on Friday afternoon, injuring five people, one serious, in the process.
“First you could hear a bang, you could hear the tree breaking and people screaming. Three people were lying on the floor, one person was on the ground underneath the car. I saw them pull her out from under the car. Shop assistants were the first to rush to their aid, and then the ambulance came a few minutes after,” said witness Darko Martinko.
Witnesses say that the driver was between 30 and 40 years of age and was concious when taken away by the ambulance.
