It’s no secret that Dinamo Zagreb would love to see their captain Luka Modrić return to the club.
On Saturday, the Croatian champions took another step to nudge him towards considering that move.
Luka Modrić (38) is nearing the end of his contract with Real Madrid, where he has spent the last 12 years and Dinamo don’t hide their ambitions to bring their former captain back into their ranks.
A new sign of this ambition is an advertisement Dinamo placed in today’s issue of Marca.
An entire page of the Spanish newspaper is dedicated to an ad that reads “Tiene Todo El Sentido Del Mundo” which translates to “It would make all the sense in the world.”
This is a slogan, “Imalo bi smisla” (It would make sense) regularly used by the Zagreb club and its fans when discussing Modrić and his potential return to the club.
The ad is signed by Velimir Zajec, the new president of Dinamo.
It was displayed on the third page of the national edition of Marca and on the sixth page of the Madrid edition. Check out the video below.
