Meet Croatia’s Olympic team for Paris 2024

Croatia won eight medals at the last Olympic Games in Tokyo, and a record ten in Rio 2016.

Th Olympic Games in Paris are set to start. The Games begin on 26th July and end on 11th August.

Croatia will have the most representatives in handball and water polo in France, while in individual competitions, we are most numerous in athletics.

A total of 73 athletes will compete for Croatia in Paris across 15 different sports:

• Athletics (9): Bojana Bjeljac, Matea Parlov Koštro (marathon), Filip Mihaljević (shot put), Sandra Elkasević, Marija Tolj, Martin Marković (discus), Filip Pravdica (long jump), Sara Kolak (javelin), Matija Gregurić (hammer throw)

• Cycling (1): Marin Ranteš (BMX freestyle)

• Boxing (1): Gabriel Veočić (up to 80 kg)

• Gymnastics (2): Tin Srbić (pommel horse), Aurel Benović (floor)

• Sailing (6): Šime and Mihovil Fantela (49er), Palma Čargo (windsurfing), Martin Dolenc (kiteboarding), Elena Vorobjeva (ILCA 6), Filip Jurišić (Laser)

• Judo (3): Barbara Matić (up to 70 kg), Katarina Krišto (up to 63 kg), Zlatko Kumrić (up to 100 kg)

• Kayak/Canoe (2): Anamaria Govorčinović (K1), Matija Marinić (C1 slalom)

• Swimming (3): Nikola Miljenić (100m freestyle), Jere Hribar, Jana Pavalić (50m freestyle)

• Handball (14): men’s team

• Table Tennis (4): Andrej Gaćina, Tomislav Pucar (individual and team), Filip Zeljko (team), Ivana Malobabić (individual)

• Shooting (3): Giovanni Cernogoraz (trap), Miran Maričić, Petar Gorša (air rifle)

• Taekwondo (3): Marko Golubić (up to 68 kg), Ivan Šapina (over 80 kg), Lena Stojković (up to 49 kg)

• Tennis (4): Donna Vekić, Petra Martić (individual), Mate Pavić and Nikola Mektić (doubles)
