Virtual museum of Croatian Diaspora to launch on Friday

ZAGREB, 11 February (Hina) – The Croatian Heritage Foundation (HMI) will launch a virtual museum of the Croatian Diaspora on Friday, 12 February, to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of this association.
The project, announced by the HMI on Wednesday, will be available at https://iseljenickimuzej.blog.
The virtual museum offers the digital format of the the past issues of the foundation’s monthly magazine “Matica”, which was published from 1951 to 1961 and also the foundation’s calendar from 1995 to 1960.

A part of the collections of the virtual museum will be more than 500 photographs about Croatian expat communities.
The museum is envisaged as a permanent digital platform to collect the heritage of Croat expats and ethnic Croats abroad and to enable constant public access.
