Croatian brand pays homage to damaged Zagreb Cathedral with bracelets

MOJATI is a young Croatian brand, with the aim of promoting the cultural heritage of the city of Zagreb, and soon other local locations.
In the days of quarantine, shaken Zagreb was the inspiration for creatives Jelka Margarita Bogdanić and Iri Pećarević, the two behind the Mojati brand.
Knowing that they wanted to create a product that would pay homage to Zagreb and Zagreb society, and homage to all those who were affected by the earthquake that morning on 22 March, but whose unity was never stronger, they decided to create a bracelet with the motif of the Zagreb Cathedral.

The uniqueness lies in the spires of the cathedral that are notched, so you can either wear them freely on the bracelet or symbolically remove the spires, as an amulet that associates strength, togetherness, and selflessness.

There is also a surprise with the packaging that is designed for the bracelet. The two papers, which are sewn on the edges, have a carefully guarded bracelet. To get to the bracelet, try and tear the seams to release it and breathe new life into it.

Mojati encourages awareness of the symbolism and beauty that each bracelet has. Once the bracelet is removed, you can breathe life into the packaging as well, since the front has an illustration of the cathedral that you can keep for yourself or gift to someone who holds special places in your heart.

The cathedral motif comes in three variants – gold, silver and translucent, and the tip on which they are located is customisable to each hand. This symbol, combined with the licitar heart, is touching.

The motif of the cathedral will soon be available also as pendants and small sculptures. You can order the bracelets via Instagram and Facebook, and in the shortest possible time, they will be shipped to your address, or by contactless delivery in the Zagreb area.

“Zagreb Cathedral is one of the greatest symbols of the city of Zagreb, and with this bracelet, we want to say to Zagreb – we still love you equally. May this be a reminder to all of us that we should rise and grow, along with the towers of our cathedral. Because Mojati is not just a bracelet, but a love that will be inherited for generations,” Jelka and Ira explain.
