A new ferry service between Dubrovnik and Budva, operated by the company “Kompas,” is set to launch operations on June 29th this summer.
This announcement came during a press conference by the Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro, Filip Radulović, as reported by Investitor.me.
It’s worth noting that Radulović initially announced the route back in January, stating that its aim is to alleviate border congestion and contribute to tourism in Budva.
According to Investitor.me, Bojan Aljinović, the executive director of Kompas, mentioned that ticket prices are estimated to be around 55 euros for a one-way journey, while a round-trip ticket for the day will likely cost 69 euros.
The planned operation of the ferry service, which will have two scheduled trips per day, is scheduled until the end of September.
The vessel capacity is 242 passengers.
International route to Italy from Dubrovnik
In 2024, Jadrolinija’s international line between Dubrovnik and Bari in Italy will also operate.
Jadrolinija announced that they will connect Dubrovnik with Bari with up to 10 trips per week.
