According to a recent study, the most popular European destination among tourists worldwide is Santorini. Taking second place is Ibiza, while the Canary Islands, specifically Tenerife, was third.
The island of Hvar was the highest ranked Croatian destination, securing a respectable 12th position out of 185 countries, Punkufer reported.
The current data is based on an analysis of Google data from the past 12 months across 185 countries, as reported by the Daily Mail. Santorini tops the list, and is the most popular European destination in 47 countries worldwide, including the United States, Finland, Colombia, Bolivia, India, Australia, and New Zealand.
Hvar
Santorini is renowned as one of the most beautiful and picturesque Greek islands, located in the Aegean Sea, 200 kilometres from the nearest mainland. It is known for its blue and white architecture, dramatic cliffs, and stunning sea views. The most popular place on the island is Oia, with its blue domes and white houses. However, those seeking more tranquility and fewer crowds can explore the less popular parts of the island.
Residents of 29 countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Kenya, Mexico, Jamaica, and Portugal, yearn for a vacation in Ibiza.
