Let 3 will represent Croatia at this year’s Eurovision in Liverpool.
Let 3 earned the right to represent Croatia at the 67th edition of Eurovision Song Contest after they won the Dora 2023 contest held on Saturday night in Opatija with their song Mama ŠČ.
From Rijeka, Let 3 has been on the scene since they formed back in 1987. The band is led by frontmen Damir “Mrle” Martinović and Zoran “Prlja” Prodanović and are known for their provocative style and outlandish live performances, and tonight was no exception.
Let 3 took first place with 279 points, based on votes from the jury and the public in Croatia, followed by Harmonija disonance (155 points), who finished in second place with their song Nevera (Lei, lei).
Croatia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 27 times since making its debut at the 1993 contest. Croatia’s best result in the contest is fourth-place finishes in 1996 (Maja Blagdan) and 1999 (Doris Dragović).
The 2023 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Liverpool in May.
